About Us
Since 1983 a McCloskey has been involved in the conveyance of South County real estate.
Upon his retirement, Attorney McCloskey’s son Jack partnered with Attorney Michael Schein to continue that tradition of exceptional service.

"Jack"
In 2003, upon returning from New York City, Jack joined the family business thinking it would only be a short stint. That of course was over 20 years ago; that’s life as they say. During those years he has been involved in 5,000 + closings in some capacity, whether it be performing the closing or pre/post closing functions. And in some cases all three. He was also fortunate enough to work alongside his father who was one of the more respected and beloved attorneys around. Experience is life’s greatest teacher: “I have seen enough to know that if issues come up, there is always a solution to the problem. I truly believe that.”

Michael L. Schein, Esq.
Purchasing a home, whether it is a single-family home, condominium or raw land is an exciting and hopeful time for the buyer, but it is also a stressful time fraught with financial risks which are not readily apparent to someone without legal training and experience in residential real estate transactions. It is important for a home buyer, especially a first-time home buyer, to choose an attorney and Title Company who will give personal attention to the purchase at every stage of the transaction.
Mike understands how important it is for clients to be educated and prepared for property closings. He approaches every transaction the same... making it simple and beneficial for the client.
"It is extremely rewarding for me to help clients purchase a home or commercial property. This is one of the biggest purchases someone may ever make, so it has to be a great experience.”
